The PLC-based ICP-AC1 automatic capper builds upon the proven reliability of the ICP-AC1 series, offering enhanced precision and control. With up to eight timer functions, this version allows for fine-tuning of the capping process, while the ability to accurately recall previous settings simplifies changeovers between different containers and caps.
The new model is designed with a standalone trolley, enabling easy attachment to almost any conveyor without the need for permanent fixtures. It also features upgraded pneumatic guided jaws, providing greater adjustment flexibility and strength. Designed and manufactured in Sydney by ICP Packaging Machines Australia, the ICP-AC1 capper is capable of handling containers from 0 to 450mm in height and integrates seamlessly with a running conveyor belt.
One standout feature of the ICP range is the use of air torque motors with adjustable torque control, which prevents the risk of under- or over-tightening. The tightening head descends smoothly onto the container, ensuring consistent results. Unlike traditional capping machines that rely on a single timer, the PLC system provides advanced control over every function, allowing users to fine-tune settings. This includes sensor signals, container stabilization, and most importantly, the ability to recall previously saved settings, eliminating the need for re-calibration during product changeovers.
