Transfer Belts Hire – Australian-Made Bottomless Conveyor

The ICP Transfer Belts, also known as a bottomless conveyor or side belt conveyor, are available for hire Australia-wide. This versatile system is designed for underside inkjet or laser coding, smooth container transfers and controlled product spacing within automated packaging lines.

Manufactured in Australia by ICP Packaging Machines Australia, these Transfer Belts were specifically designed to withstand the demands of a commercial rental fleet. Their heavy-duty construction, industrial components and flexible controls make them suitable for short production runs, seasonal demand, product trials and ongoing commercial applications.

Underside Inkjet and Laser Coding

The system uses two opposing side belts to grip and support each container while leaving its base exposed. This provides clear access beneath bottles, jars and cans for printing:

  • Batch and lot numbers
  • Expiry and best-before dates
  • Production codes
  • Barcodes
  • Traceability information

A 20 mm stainless-steel mounting rail is included for attaching a coding head, sensor or adjustable coding trolley.

The Transfer Belts can be integrated with a suitable coding system, including the MEENJET MXPlus thermal inkjet printer.

Container Transfers Between Machines

The ICP bottomless conveyor can also provide a smooth transfer point between adjoining conveyors and packaging machines.

It can be used to transfer suitable containers:

  • Between two conveyor sections
  • From a conveyor into an automatic labelling machine
  • Across gaps between packaging-line equipment
  • Into an accumulation or collection system
  • Between filling, capping, coding and labelling stations

This helps reduce unstable transitions, container tipping and manual handling within the production line.

Automated Product Spacing

Each belt has separately adjustable speed control. The belts can be set to match an adjoining conveyor or operate at a higher speed to create a controlled gap between containers.

Consistent container spacing can improve product flow when feeding:

  • Automatic labelling machines
  • Inkjet and laser coding systems
  • Inspection equipment
  • Packaging machinery
  • Rotary accumulation tables

For end-of-line collection, the Transfer Belts can be combined with an ICP Rotary Accumulation Table.
